Basketball Recap: Davie County Takes a Loss

Davie County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Wilkes Vikings.

Burris has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lexi Mickey, who had six points.

Davie County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Wilkes, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.
