Baseball Recap: Pinon Takes a Loss

Pinon lost against St. Johns back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 16-2 to the Redskins. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pinon now has a losing record of 4-5. As for St. Johns, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-8.

Coming up, Pinon will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Northland Prep Academy at 12:00 p.m. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. As for St. Johns, they are taking a road trip to challenge Joseph City at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Redskins are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
