Baseball Game Preview: Folsom Bulldogs vs. Oak Ridge Trojans

The Folsom Bulldogs will face off against the Oak Ridge Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Folsom has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 11th.

On Saturday, Folsom came up short against McClatchy and fell 5-2.

Folsom saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Dreussi, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Logan Hutton, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Oak Ridge fell victim to Davis Sr. and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Folsom's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Oak Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Folsom couldn't quite get it done against Oak Ridge when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 8-3. Can Folsom avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
