Basketball Game Preview: Wayne Eagles vs. Mynderse Academy Blue Devils

Wayne hasn't had much luck against Mynderse Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wayne came up short against Palmyra-Macedon on Friday, falling 56-35.

Meanwhile, Mynderse Academy was beaten by Waterloo 73-33 on Friday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Mynderse Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wayne, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Wayne skirted past Mynderse Academy 43-40 in their previous meeting back in December of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
