Volleyball Recap: Gordon Central Comes Up Short

Gordon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

Gordon Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Southeast Whitfield County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Gordon Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Pickens on the 16th. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against North Murray on the 16th.
