Chayton Gottfredsen and Lucas Garavaglia scored both of St. Croix Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Rice Lake made sure to put some goals up on the board against Hayward on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 5-3. Rice Lake haven't had any issues with Hayward recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

St. Croix Central's win bumped their record up to 7-12-1. As for Rice Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9-1.
