Soccer Recap: West Side Takes a Loss

West Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hillside Comets. West Side were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Hillside earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

West Side's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hillside, with the victory, they broke their six-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

West Side does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hillside, they will head out on the road to face off against Perth Amboy at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
