Volleyball Recap: Academy of Science and Innovation Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens lost 3-0 to the Berlin Redcoats on Tuesday.

Academy of Science and Innovation took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-18.

Phoebe Candy paced Academy of Science and Innovation's offense, picking up four kills. Candy got some help from Alisa Kandic and her eight assists. Candy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Berlin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mya Lamoureux, who had three digs and two aces. Lamoureux is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Academy of Science and Innovation's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Berlin, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Academy of Science and Innovation will head out to challenge Achievement First at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Berlin, they will be playing at home against Plainville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
