Softball Recap: Lakeside Lancers vs. Citrus Hill Hawks

Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Citrus Hill Hawks. That's two games in a row now that the Lancers have lost by just one run.

Michaela Alverado and Savana Swick stepped up to the plate in a big way. Alverado went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double, while Swick went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That double was Alverado's first of the season.
