Soccer Game Preview: Ysleta vs. Riverside

The Ysleta Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Riverside Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Ysleta, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Ysleta turned things around against Burges on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs. Matthew Velasco had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Indians got from the refs.

Ysleta hit Burges with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jesus Rodriguez, Daniel Torres, and Kevin Portillo.

Meanwhile, Riverside didn't have quite enough to beat El Paso on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Ysleta's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Riverside, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
