Basketball Recap: St. Edward Takes a Loss

St. Edward had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses, falling 46-26. If the Green Wave were looking for revenge after losing 48-39 to the Dukes & Duchesses when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dixon has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, St. Edward won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Harlem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dixon, they will take on Cuba City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
