Baseball Recap: Casa Roble Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Twelve Bridges, Casa Roble was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Destiny Christian Academy Lions, sneaking past 3-1.

Ian Peatross made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Peatross was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Peatross wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Nate Stillman, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. That run was Stillman's first of the season.

The win got Casa Roble back to even at 2-2. As for Destiny Christian Academy, they moved to 4-1-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Destiny Christian Academy beat Casa Roble by a score of 6-3 on Saturday.
