Basketball Recap: Mount Anthony Comes Up Short

Mount Anthony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 81-57 to the Rutland Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-33 back in January.

Mount Anthony's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Rutland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Brattleboro the next time they take the court. Mount Anthony will head out to face Brattleboro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Rutland will host them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
