Basketball Recap: Milton Falls Short Against Ranked Middlebury

On Saturday, Milton faced Middlebury in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Milton Yellowjackets took a 43-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Middlebury Tigers. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Middlebury, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Coming up, Milton will host Stowe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middlebury, they will head out to face off against Vergennes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
