Basketball Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short

McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Moanalua Menehune 68-13. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 69-19 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Moanalua, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-7.

McKinley will challenge Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moanalua, they will head out on the road to challenge Kalaheo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Kalaheo: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Moanalua has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
