While Borah's victory against Boise wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Borah narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Boise 3-1. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Brave recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Brady Robinson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Borah's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tate Kubena, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Keijen Shearer also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Borah's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Boise, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.

Coming up, Borah will face off against Twin Falls at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Borah's pitchers better be ready for this one: Twin Falls has averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Boise, they will head out on the road to square off against Capital at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
