Football Recap: Nicholas County Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Nicholas County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were dealt a 49-22 defeat at the hands of the Raceland Rams on Friday. The Bluejackets haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Nicholas County's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Raceland, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Nicholas County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Raceland, they will square off against Paris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
