Softball Recap: Dacula Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

While Dacula's win against Grayson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Rams 4-3 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three games in a row.

Paisley Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Karsyn Plaisance, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Candace Reyes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Dacula now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Grayson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coincidentally, Dacula and Grayson will both be playing Parkview the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
