Basketball Recap: Farwell Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bovina last Friday, Farwell came back down to earth. The Farwell Steers fell just short of the Olton Mustangs by a score of 58-55 on Tuesday. The game was a 30-30 toss-up at halftime, but the Steers couldn't quite close it out.

Farwell's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-6. As for Olton, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-4.

Farwell will face off against Hale Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Olton, they will welcome Bovina at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
