Baseball Recap: Mount Juliet Victorious

On Tuesday, the Mount Juliet Golden Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Davidson Academy Bears.

Jacob James was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Brady Anderson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The victory got Mount Juliet back to even at 3-3-1. As for Davidson Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Mount Juliet is taking a road trip to face off against Vero Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vero Beach will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Mount Juliet surely won't give up without a fight. As for Davidson Academy, they will welcome Station Camp at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
