Baseball Recap: Alton Takes a Loss

Alton lost against Bakersfield last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Comets came up short against the Lions, falling 11-1. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alton's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Bakersfield, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Coincidentally, Alton and Bakersfield will both be playing Van Buren the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Comets will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
