Basketball Recap: Jenkins Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jenkins blew J.I. Burton out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday J.I. Burton got their revenge. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Black Raiders by a score of 39-36. The close contest was extra heartbreaking for the Cavaliers, who almost overcame a 20 point deficit.

J.I. Burton was led to victory by Tianna Gravely and Mia Hammons. Gravely posted 13 points and five steals, while Hammons had 11 points and eight steals.

Jenkins now has a losing record of 1-2. As for J.I. Burton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jenkins will be home for the holidays to greet Letcher County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for J.I. Burton, they will welcome Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
