Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caddo Mills). They put the hurt on the Rains Wildcats with a sharp 12-4 win on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Foxes considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Wade Bowen was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Cesar Cantu was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Caddo Mills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Caddo Mills' victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Rains, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Coming up, Caddo Mills will take on Van in a tournament on Friday. As for Rains, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sunnyvale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
