Volleyball Recap: Charlestown Find Success

Charlestown won the last time they faced Austin and things went their way on Monday too. The Pirates walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-14, 25-14.

Desi Witt was the offensive standout of the game as she had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last five contests.

Charlestown was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Charlestown's record now sits at 9-13. As for Austin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.
