Volleyball Game Preview: Moriarty Pintos vs. Espanola Valley Sundevils + Official Tickets

The Moriarty Pintos will head out to face off against the Espanola Valley Sundevils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Moriarty is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Moriarty didn't have quite enough to beat Pojoaque Valley and fell 3-2.

Moriarty wouldn't go down easily and took Pojoaque Valley into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 21-25, 22-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Espanola Valley lost 3-0 to Taos on Tuesday.

Espanola Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-18.

Espanola Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Moriarty, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Moriarty came up short against Espanola Valley in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 3-1. Can the Pintos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
