Basketball Recap: Rockford Comes Up Short

Rockford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers, falling 78-50. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Panthers are ranked 109th).

Rockford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Glencoe-Silver Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Rockford has already played their next matchup (against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Glencoe-Silver Lake, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-63 win against Watertown-Mayer on the 18th.
