Basketball Game Preview: Calvary Christian Knights vs. St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings

Calvary Christian hasn't had much luck against St. Anne-Pacelli recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Calvary Christian Knights will challenge the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, Calvary Christian made easy work of New Creation Christian Academy and carried off a 73-52 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Calvary Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Hosten, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastian Heard Heard, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 12 points.

Meanwhile, St. Anne-Pacelli put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past Dothan with a 63-59 win. 63 seems to be a good number for the Vikings as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

St. Anne-Pacelli pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Calvary Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Calvary Christian was dealt a bruising 80-53 loss at the hands of St. Anne-Pacelli in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Thankfully for Calvary Christian, T. J.
