Basketball Recap: Red Lake Takes a Loss

Red Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They had to suffer through an 88-24 loss at the hands of the Pine River-Backus Tigers. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 67-16.

Rhianna May was Red Lake's leading scorer, having posted eight points. May also led the team in rebounds with seven.

Red Lake's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Pine River-Backus, they pushed their record up to 18-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Red Lake nor Pine River-Backus have any future games scheduled.
