Softball Recap: Bangor Comes Up Short

Bangor came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Pepin/Alma, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pepin/Alma this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 back in April.

Bangor has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Pepin/Alma, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Coming up, Bangor will be playing in front of their home fans against Wonewoc-Center at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pepin/Alma, they will venture away from home to face off against Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
