Baseball Game Preview: Culver City Centaurs vs. Lawndale Cardinals

For the second straight game, Culver City will face off against Lawndale. The Centaurs will challenge the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Culver City 1.9, Lawndale 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Culver City barely beat Lawndale the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Centaurs never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Centaurs have won 13 matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Culver City's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Lawndale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.
