Basketball Recap: Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers vs. New Bern Christian Academy
The Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers lost against New Bern Christian Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Eastern Christian HomeSchool was beaten by the 64-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Eastern Christian HomeSchool has scored all season.
KC Peter was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds for New Bern Christian Academy. That makes it five consecutive games in which Peter has scored at least a third of New Bern Christian Academy's points. Luke Puchalski was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Eastern Christian HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for New Bern Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern Christian HomeSchool will take on the at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Bern Christian Academy, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Heat at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. Liberty Christian Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
