Baseball Recap: Hopkins Sets Scoring Season-High Against Tournament Opponent

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hopkins). They blew past Tournament Opponent 16-4 on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Hilltoppers as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Rocco DeMaio III, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Hopkins is 2-1 when DeMaio III posts two or more stolen bases, but 8-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Tommy O'Connell, who went 1-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
