Baseball Recap: West Warwick Falls Short of Central in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Warwick can now relate to. They fell 4-1 to the Central Knights on Sunday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss on Tuesday.

West Warwick saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Hunt, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

West Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither West Warwick nor Central have any future games scheduled.
