Volleyball Game Preview: Sequoia Ravens vs. Woodside Wildcats

The Sequoia Ravens are taking a road trip to take on the Woodside Wildcats at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sequoia saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Monterey. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Woodside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Jefferson.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 22-25, 25-22.

Woodside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sequoia, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

Sequoia took their win against Woodside when the teams last played on April 2nd by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
