Softball Recap: Colony Knights vs. Kodiak Bears
Colony lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Kodiak, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's match. The Knights never let the Bears get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Knights have posted against the Bears since April 30, 2022.
Kaidence Browning made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Browning was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
Browning wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Saibree Noll, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Colony has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
