Football Recap: Logan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 44-13 defeat at the hands of the Groveport-Madison Cruisers. The Chieftains were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-7.

Logan's loss came despite strong showings from Carson Tootle and Jim Carver. Tootle threw for 103 yards and two TDs, while Carver picked up 87 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Logan's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Groveport-Madison, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Logan will face off against Teays Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chieftains will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.11 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Groveport-Madison, they will challenge Canal Winchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Cruisers surely won't give up without a fight.
