Basketball Recap: Eno River Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Eno River Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 35-24 to the Chatham Charter Knights on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Chatham Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camille Alston, who posted eight points. Judy Shreef was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.

Looking ahead, Eno River Academy will venture away from home to take on Roxboro Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chatham Charter, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-32 defeat against Phoenix Academy on the 4th.
