Football Recap: Odem Owls vs. Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats
Odem won the last time they faced Skidmore-Tynan, and John Hinojosa did his part to make sure it happened again. The Owls simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bobcats 56-18 with plenty of help from Hinojosa, who rushed for 193 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. Hinojosa is also crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.
Odem didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Adrian Ramirez and Jayden Ayala. Ramirez got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
