Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Ava Jeffers stepped things up a notch to give Loogootee the 'W'. Jeffers posted four points and five steals. The effort also marked the most assists (three) she has had since back in December of 2024.

Jeffers and Loogootee will challenge Shoals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Jug Rox thanks in part to Jeffers: she shot 56% from the field en route to 11 points along with seven assists and five boards.
