Hinkley had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Gateway Olympians with a sharp 3-0 win. The Thunder have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Olympians, too.

While Hinkley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-23.

Rylee Mansanares paced Hinkley's offense, picking up ten kills. Mansanares got some help from Gisele Chavez and her 13 assists. Chavez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hinkley's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Gateway, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Hinkley will take on Manual at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gateway, they will host Adams City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
