Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Anchor Bay). They blew past the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen 17-11 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Tars in their matchups with the Norsemen: they've now won four in a row.

Logan Bickers looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Isaiah Domey, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Zac Kruper, who got on base in three of his six plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Anchor Bay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .596. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Anchor Bay picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Grosse Pointe North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
