Rogers City had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Tawas Area Braves by a score of 6-3.

Rogers City's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Tawas Area, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-8.

Coming up, Rogers City will square off against Petoskey at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tawas Area, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-4 win against Valley Lutheran on the 17th.
