Volleyball Recap: Chester Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chester can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Strom Thurmond Rebels on Wednesday. The Cyclones' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-9, 24-26, 25-12.

Chester's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Strom Thurmond, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Chester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Strom Thurmond, they will square off against Chesnee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Rebels surely won't give up without a fight.
