Basketball Game Preview: Manteca Buffaloes vs. Lodi Flames + How To Watch

The Manteca Buffaloes will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Lodi Flames at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Manteca is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Elk Grove. The Buffaloes skirted past the Thundering Herd 63-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Buffaloes have posted against the Thundering Herd since December 16, 2017.

Manteca got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rehan Awan out in front who shot 67% from the field to rack up 21 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Antonio Fraley, who posted 13 points along with eight assists and three steals.

Manteca was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. They racked up 12 more assists than Elk Grove's also-impressive total of 13.

Meanwhile, Lodi didn't have too much trouble with Tokay on Monday as they won 58-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Flames.

Manteca took a serious blow against Lodi in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 72-43. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Buffaloes were down 35-12.
