Basketball Game Preview: Kelvyn Park Panthers vs. Little Village Phoenix

Having just played yesterday, the Kelvyn Park Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Little Village Phoenix at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Kelvyn Park made off with a 29-28 victory over Foreman.

Meanwhile, Little Village entered their tilt with Phoenix Military on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took their game with ease, bagging a 53-10 win over the Firebirds. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 24 points or more this season.

Little Village's win came from a few key players Kelvyn Park will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kenneth Williams, who posted ten points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyshawn Miller, who put up nine points and four steals.

Little Village pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Kelvyn Park, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Kelvyn Park didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Little Village in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 52-48 victory.
