Baseball Game Preview: West Aurora Blackhawks vs. Elgin Maroons

For the second straight game, West Aurora will face off against Elgin. The Blackhawks will host the Maroons at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Aurora has three straight wins, Elgin has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While West Aurora's victory against Elgin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blackhawks narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Maroons 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blackhawks have posted since April 28th.
