North waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Whitney Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Saxons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Whitney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Bellflower on the 10th. As for Whitney, they will take on Pioneer at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
