Sequoyah kept a clean sheet against Porter on Friday. They skirted past the Porter Pirates 1-0. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Sequoyah's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Porter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Sequoyah didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Poteau on the 14th. Porter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Verdigris at 5:30 p.m. on March 25th. Porter's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
