Volleyball Recap: Huntington Comes Up Short

Huntington lost against Cabell Midland back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Highlanders fell 2-0 to the Knights. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Huntington was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21.

Jillian Yost went supernova For Cabell Midland., getting 29 assists and eight digs.

Huntington's loss dropped their record down to 8-15-2. As for Cabell Midland, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 29-4-1.

Coming up, Huntington will challenge Boyd County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cabell Midland, they will face off against South Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
