Basketball Recap: Anderson Homeschool Starts off Right with Win over Kosciusko County Homeschool

Anderson HomeSchool had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They secured a 64-58 W over Kosciusko County HomeSchool on Friday. The win continues a trend for the SONS in their matchups with Kosciusko County HomeSchool: they've now won five in a row.

Lance Leeman was a one-man wrecking crew as he dropped a double-double with 21 points and 16 boards. Those 16 rebounds gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jonas Hollingsworth, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 19 points and six assists.

Kosciusko County HomeSchool dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Anderson HomeSchool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heartland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Kosciusko County HomeSchool, they will venture away from home to challenge Portage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
